No post tonight it's 9.00pm and I have been on the web all night trying to find out part numbers for sockets and switches so that tomorrow I can show them to John the electrician and get them on order. The wiring seems to be taking an age to complete the final details, the kitchen was finalised today and my laundry room wiring was checked over. There are still three more pieces of wiring to be completed in the laundry room - one for the immersion heater, one for the boiler and one for the tank. Incidentally the tank is now being plumbed in and the boiler has its flue sticking out of the side wall, so progress is being made, we also got water out of the hot taps downstairs - it is cold of course as the boiler and immersion heater are not connected, but I think that means that the new tank must be full of water.

Hilary's homework for tonight was to finish painting the second coat of white on the study ceiling - I did the first coat earlier while she was in Plympton doing the laundry - and to add the first coat of magnolia onto the study walls. Then immediately after dinner she went into our master bedroom and started using the steamer to take the wallpaper off the walls. She did this until it got too dark and now we are sitting in the living room with the TV on waiting to go to bed. It is too dark to read any more of Harry Potter and even to see the rarely used keys on the keyboard of the laptop, so I am stopping and will hopefully post a better report tomorrow together with some photos.
